Yesterday, both VIZ and Yen Press announced some of their recently acquired manga titles, and there were quite a few familiar names in the bunch! Let’s take a look at all the announcements that have me excited.

Starting off with the VIZ announcements, first we have…
No Glass Slippers for Me: Reincarnated Cinderella
The original Japanese title for this one is: 転生シンデレラはガラスの靴を履きたくない.
This is a story about three young women reincarnating into the bodies of various Disney princess. Specifically, we’ll get to see the stories of Snow White, Ariel, and Cinderella. Chapter one follows Snow White coming across a huntsman who has no business looking like that.
This one is a one-shot series, so the full story is told in just one volume.
It will be coming out sometime next Spring!
Next, we have a series that was sadly ended before it really found its footing.
The Exorcist and the Lovestruck Raven
The original Japanese title for this one is: 昏姫と恋烏.
This is a story about an exorcist who finds herself having to rely on someone who should be her worst enemy to have a shot at living a normal life. This is a fantasy high school series, featuring a very strong female lead, and a likable male lead. If you enjoy would-be enemies to lovers, you should definitely check this one out!
This series was ended early, complete at just three volumes.

Moving on to the Yen Press announcements, first we have…
Yamada’s Class Diary
The original Japanese title for this one is: 山田の学級日誌
This is a high school rom-com series, heavy on the comedy. It follows a girl who attends a previously all-male school, hoping to secure a path to a good university in order to live a good life. The only thing blocking her, is her teachers request for her to get one of her more troublesome classmates to begin attending school again.
This series is complete in Japanese with four volumes.
This next one was actually announced on May 22nd, but I just had to include it in the list:
Sinful Is the Angel Who Loves
The original Japanese title for this one is: 恋する天使は罪深い.
This is a high school fantasy romance series, featuring an impossibly jealous male lead. It follows a young angel who is doing her best to live an upstanding life, with her eyes currently set an achieving an all-coveted halo. She decides to join the student council on her journey of self-improvement, but makes a startling discovery upon joining—each of the members of the club represents a cardinal sin!?
This series is ongoing in Japanese, with three volumes currently published.
