This word is written in Kanji as 有頂点. We can also spell it with Hiragana as うちょうてん, or with Romaji as uchouten. When using this word in a sentence, make sure to use the Kanji spelling!
The Kanji and it’s meanings
The word 有頂天 is made up of three Kanji characters:
- 有・to have; to exist
- 頂・peak; summit
- 天・heavens; sky
When to use 有頂天 in a sentence
- When you become so happy that you get lost in it
- When you reach the peak of elation
- When you feel like you could float into the sky because you’re so happy
