This is a Maddie-made, just-for-fun quiz that I made!
If you’re looking for a shoujo character that you can easily dress up as this Halloween, you’ll find four options here!
How to play:
There will be four that you can get! Please keep track of which answer you agree with the most, (for example, if you get 2 A’s, and 3 B’s, then B will be the letter that you agreed with the most). The letter that you agreed with the most will lead you to your answer!
Let’s start!
Question 1
On Halloween night, what do you usually prefer to do?
A) I prefer staying in by myself, and watching movies. Maybe I would have my closest friend join me, but I like a calm, cozy Halloween.
B) I like to exchange scary stories with my group of friends. Some people may go a little too far, but that’s where the fun is.
C) I like to have a movie marathon with my closest friends! We all bring our favourite snacks, and watch movies until we all pass out.
D) I go to a party with my friends! If there’s no party on my radar, I would throw a house party. I just want to celebrate with a lot of people!
Question 2
How are you with scary things in general?
A) Nothing scary for me, please!
B) I enjoy supernatural kinds of scary! Anything too realistic and I get a little uncomfortable.
C) I don’t scare easily! I can handle any type of scary.
D) I like to think I’m brave, but I’d prefer to not have to face anything scary unless I absolutely have to.
Question 3
What is your favourite kind of candy to get in a trick-or-treat bag?
A) I like chips! I think salty snacks are the tastiest.
B) I like chocolate the best!
C) I’m not picky! I’ll even eat the leftover candies that no one else wants to eat. Even the black licorice.
D) I like sour gummies! Watermelon slices, sour patch kids, fuzzy peaches…
Question 4
If you were the main character in a horror movie…You would
A) Most likely survive, but only because you are incredibly lucky. You would go out of your way to befriend everyone around you, but you aren’t desperate enough to be kind to those who act poorly. Your way of discerning people is what brings you your good fortune.
B) Probably die, but only because you were trying to save one of your friends.
C) Probably trip and fall and be out for the majority of the movie. If you manage to come back to before the movie ends, the villain would spare you purely because of your lovely personality. If you don’t, well…
D) Absolutely be the first one to die.
Question 5
What kind of Halloween costume do you like the most?
A) Ones that can be repurposed! I am a big fan of upcycling, and don’t want to buy anything unless I absolutely have to. It doesn’t really make sense to buy something to only wear it once, right?
B) Ones that involve a little bit of creativity, but not too much. I like costumes that mostly involve things that I already own, with just a tiny bit extra to give it that oumph.
C) Ones that are simple enough that I can make myself! There’s something so fun about creating something absolutely from scratch.
D) Cute ones are the best! The cuter the better!
The Results..!
If you picked mostly A‘s… You got Mizuka from Shiokaze to Ryuu no Sumika!

Mizuka probably is one of the easiest characters to cosplay, you’ll likely be able to find all of the pieces that you need from your own wardrobe! All you need is a white button down t-shirt, a black skirt, and a black tie. If you want to go all in, a light brown wig would completely tie it all together.
If you picked mostly B‘s… You got Nagi from The Failure at God School!

Nagi’s outfit is also not too difficult to replicate. You’ll need a white button down long sleeve shirt, and a red skirt. The slightly trickier part comes in finding/making the white overcoat, and red string bow. This costume is complete with your hair in a ponytail!
If you picked mostly C‘s… You got Colette from Colette Decides to Die!

If you want to try your hands at making your own costume, then Colette’s dress may be an easy one to start with! It’s a long blue dress, that flows out at the waist. As there aren’t too many details to it, it allows you to take your own artistic spin on it if you want! Once finished with the dress, the scraps can be used to make a headband! Top it off with two braids, and you’re Colette!
If you want to be a little bit extra, bringing along a little stuffed skeleton would really seal the costume.
If you picked mostly D‘s… You got Neneko from Assassin and Cinderella!

While Neneko may seem like a rather daunting character, that’s just because of the artstyle that she’s drawn in! All you need to dress up as her is: a mid-thigh length dress, a long pink wig, and cat ears. That’s it! If you want to go a little extra, a cute thigh band would make it even more authentic.
