“Just killing me would be a waste. Why don’t we have a gamble?”
This wasn’t my favourite manga, but I’m still going to write a review! It’s rating on Amazon is a 4.6/5, so it seems to be very well-received, just not my cup of tea.

Summary
After playing the same game for 200 hours, our main character still cannot clear her otome game. After dying yet again, in a fit of frustration she slips off her bed, and dies in real life. She opens her eyes to find herself in the otome game she had just been playing, in the body of the villainess.
The Game World: Taisho Nostalgia ~ Okaden
This game is set in the Taisho era (1912~1926). For romance historical stories, the setting is rather typical.
Characters
Kujou Ruri
If I can overcome death, I want you to listen to my wish
- The villainess
- She hired an assassin to kill her step brothers fiancée
- She is very brave!
- Died playing an otome game
Haku
- ”Mr. Bad End”
- He is very twisted
- He is a member of the mafia
- He hates boring things
What I like about the story
- I was able to learn some new words!
- The art is very pretty
- The story is unique
As there is no furigana (reading help for Kanji characters), I was able to practice reading more difficult words. I was also able to read some words I had never seen before, which increased my vocab! The main characters death was also a bit funny, and I like how it became motivation once she entered the story.
What I didn’t really like about the story
- The male lead
- It was a bit too short
I’m not a big fan of such crazy male leads. I prefer more laid back stories, so while reading this I was constantly worried about the main character..
