Slowly but surely, Himuro and Fuyutsuki’s relationship grows better and better. In this volume, we see all of the coworkers get stranded due to heavy rainfall, Himuro and Fuyutsuki have to stay late to work overtime, and everyone goes out on a ski trip!

My thoughts on this volume
This series has grown to be such a comfort read for me. Now that the weather’s starting to get colder (we actually had our first snowfall of the season yesterday!), I thought it was well appropriate to continue where I left off.
I’m enjoying that we’re not just following Himuro and Fuyutsuki anymore, but three different couples! While Himuro and Fuyutsuki are still at the forefront of the story, occasionally being shown what the other two couples are up to is a very welcomed change of pace.
As this series is a very slow, casual office romance, I was worried at times that it would be too slow for my liking. But every time that fear began to creep in, the scene would change, and something fresh would be added to the story. The pacing is absolutely perfect!
This is the type of series that you can put down and pick right back up whenever—there’s not so much going on that you’ll forget important details. Even if you do forget something, there’s really no need to backtrack to previous volumes. The story is told in such a way that readers can catch on through all of the various context clues. This makes it a perfect read for when you’re tired and just want something light and calming.
Things I particularly enjoyed
❤️ Meeting Himuro’s sister! She’s the absolute cutest! I loved that she was basically just a younger female version of him, making her also obsessed with Fuyutsuki as soon as they met.
🧡 Two people one umbrella trope—it’s a trope for a reason, it works.
💛 Fuyutsuki and Himuro drawing each other while working overtime, and then setting each other’s drawing as their new LINE ID photos. And Himuro instantly going to brag about how Fuyutsuki drew him.
💚 Himuro being a fantastic skier…but a terrible teacher—teaching is a skill unto itself!
💛 The girls talking about playing an FPS game…but Himuro misunderstanding as them actually battling it out with guns in real life. The poor man was so alarmed but still wanted to help them out.
🧡 Himuro not knowing if he should make his avatar a man or a woman… so he decides on just being a really weak cat instead. Making it so Fuyutsuki has to protect him (she’s so cool).
❤️ Himuro’s hobby being creating ice cream. He could probably make an endless supply of it…
