First Impressions
The first chapter alone had me absolutely gagged. This is such a well-written story! I feel like I read it in the blink of an eye because I was so absorbed in it.
The story follow three men all in love with another. Each behaves very questionably, however the manner in which the story is told is just absolutely captivating. There is a sense of dark humor found throughout the volume, and each character feels very fleshed out! While I do feel like one character wasn’t as explored as the rest, I was really able to enjoy learning about the characters throughout the volume.
My Favourites
- Getting to see the same scenario from different characters perspectives
- The reactions and provoking
- The art is stunning
- There is nothing graphic!
My Least-Favourites
- Nothing so far! I really enjoyed this volume!
The Characters

From left to right: Hachimori, Mitsunaga, Tate
Hachimori

- Is obsessed with Mitsunaga
- Is being stalked by Tate
Character traits
Hachimori, perhaps due to his difficult home life, was an incredibly gloomy person for the majority of his life. It wasn’t until he one day saw Mitsunaga that he thought that he could change. He saw how free and decisive Mitsunaga was, and decided to dedicate his life to imitating, and following, Mitsunaga. It’s gotten to the point where he lives for Mitsunaga, and treats him like a god.
As a person, he is a rather innocent-thinker. He is easily strung-along by Tate, and doesn’t seem to think about ulterior motives. He acts first, and doesn’t really think about the consequences.
Mitsunaga Yamato

- Is in love with Tate
- Hates Hachimori
Character traits
Mitsunaga has known Tate since they were kids. And since they were kids, Mitsunaga has had great difficulties sharing Tate. They promised to always stay together, and in Mitsunaga’s mins, they really don’t need anyone else.
As a person, Mitsunaga is very forward. He clearly really doesn’t care about anything besides Tate.
Tate Hiromaki

- Is in love with Hachimori
- Is best friends with Mitsunaga
Character traits
Tate is the character we know the least about! He clearly has a bit of a weak side when it comes to Mitsunaga, as he knowingly allows him to keep him to himself. He finds Hachimori to be like a cat, and finds his stalking activities to be rather cute.
As a person, Tate is probably the most rational of the three. He kind-of knows Mitsunaga’s feelings for him, and remains friends with him. He also stands up for Hachimori after they have a bit of a confrontation.
Quick Story Checks!
Is the plot compelling and coherent?
Yes! I don’t think I’ve even read a manga where stalking was the plot point. I loved learning about the different relationships between the characters, and I found the plot to slowly move in the right direction.
Are the protagonists well-developed and relatable?
I don’t know about relatable… But I absolutely loved all three protagonists. I had so much fun reading and learning more about each character! I also enjoyed slowly being fed relevant backstory.
I liked that each character had unique relationships, and that this was indeed a true love triangle!
Final Thoughts
I Loooooved this volume, and am so sad I’m going to have to wait to continue reading 😦
