My thoughts on this volume (Slight Spoilers!)
Before I start my review, I want to give a small trigger warning. This is a very dark series that touches on some dark subjects. If you want to avoid stories that involve the following topics, I would recommend skipping this manga.

- sexual coercion and blackmail
- gore
- extreme bullying
This series follows two characters who are both victims of horrific bullying. Our protagonist, Yuuma, has been targeted by a group of psychopathic boys since their time together in middle school. They steal his money, abuse him physically, and go as far as sexually assaulting him right beside the gym during school hours. While there’s absolutely no way the teachers are unaware of this, they choose to do nothing.
The teachers in this school are beyond useless, as even when they’re explicitly asked if they have anything to report, they say no. Just about everything in this volume could have been avoided had they shown even a little bit of compassion for their students.
We also have Yuuna, a girl who has been sexually abused by a group of boys since their time together in middle school. They took images during one of the assaults and use them as leverage to continue assaulting her. Yuuna sees herself in Yuuma, and takes several steps to try to save him from the bullies. She’s braver than all of the teachers at the school, as when they ignore her report, she tries to stand up directly to the bullies.
In comes Ryou. Ryou, just like Yuuna, suddenly appears in Yuuma’s life one day and stands up to his bullies. He’s a bit different from Yuuna however, as Ryou himself says he typically doesn’t care if someone is bullied, but he cares if Yuuma is bullied. He also claims to share hobbies with Yuuma, and goes so far as inviting him to his house so they can indulge in their hobbies together. While Yuuna saw someone she could relate to in Yuuma, it’s still unclear exactly what Ryou’s motivations are.
For the first time in Yuuma’s life, things seem to be going well ever since Ryou appeared! He finally has a friend who he can talk to, and his bullies have been disappearing one by one. While Yuuma seems to have his own personal guardian angel, poor Yuuna seems to have been forgotten about by the heavens. While the boys who tormented her in middle school begin ambushing her at her bus station day by day to continue their assaults, she’s forced to watch as Yuuma’s life gets better and better. Will anyone even come to save her?
While on the surface it seems like Yuuna is the only one still suffering, things on Yuuma’s side quickly grow complicated. The only difference between their situations is that while Yuuna’s tormentors are the same degenerate bullies who are easy to hate, the one bringing bloodshed to Yuuma’s life is now Ryou, the one who saved him from the bullies in the first place.
