There will be four characters that you can get! Please keep track of which answer you agree with the most, (for example, if you get 2 A’s, and 3 B’s, then B will be the letter that you agreed with the most). The letter that you agreed with the most will lead you to your shopping buddy!
Let’s start!
Question 1
It’s December first! While Christmas is still a ways away, it’s still on your mind. Are you the type to take charge of your plans? Or would you rather have him plan everything?
A) I would rather be invited to something, but I don’t think it would be fair to have him do all of the prep work. It could be fun to have Christmas with a small group of friends, where everyone does a little bit of prep work on their own.
B) I want to be invited out! I think Christmas feels the most magical when it’s full of surprises. And a surprise can only really be a surprise when I’m not involved in any of the planning.
C) Rather than celebrate Christmas, I think I would rather go on vacation with the people I’m closest to. After all, why spend the day where it’s cold when I could be lounging by the beach?
D) I actually prefer to spend Christmas with my family. I could potentially see myself sneaking away for an hour or two to go on a small date, but I would certainly never plan to spend the day away from my family.
Question 2
What can you see yourself preparing as a gift for your date? After all, it is Christmas.
A) I would prefer to do something like white elephant or secret santa than a classic gift exchange. I think it’s a little bit more exciting when you make a game out of it.
B) Rather than buying a gift, I like to make my gifts. For Christmas, I think it would be fun to make some holiday themed cookies. If you wrap them up nicely, they make a very unique gift!
C) I think I would prefer to not have a gift exchange. Rather, spending some extra time together is more in the Christmas spirit, I would say.
D) As I’m not the best at buying gifts, I think it could be fun to go out shopping together to pick out gifts! We could even decide on something matching, and then buy them for each other!
Question 3
An obstacle has come between you and your perfect Christmas—exams. How do you go about making sure you ace them so you can have a clear mind once the holidays start?
A) I always ace my exams, so this isn’t a problem for me. Just to be safe, I would spend some extra time studying at home. My date isn’t all that studious, plus he would be a bit of a distraction if he were to keep me company, so I would wait to see him until after exams. It would give me something extra to look forward to after completing them, and would work as extra motivation to study hard.
B) As my date would be in the exact same boat as me, I would suggest we study together. After all, study dates in the library can be cute! Having someone there to hold you accountable, and to watch your things while you go to the washroom is also invaluable.
C) As my date’s a little bit older than me, he’s already taken the exams I’m taking this year! I would probably ask him for help on the subjects that I’m feeling most insecure about, and then spend the rest of time studying by myself. As he also has exams, he needs ample time to study as well.
D) I feel like my date would be offering to help me study before I even had the chance to ask. A study date can be fun, but I would also make sure to give myself some space to study by myself as well.
Question 4
It’s Christmas! You passed your exams and can now focus on having fun! So, what did you and your date end up doing?
A) We ended up going to karaoke with our friends! We played some games, sang some songs, and did secret santa. After the party ended, my date and I went to look at the Christmas lights outside.
B) We ended up going to a fancy restaurant, where his friend works as a chef! After dinner we went to look at some Christmas lights, and then spent the rest of the night at my house watching Christmas movies.
C) While we didn’t actually have anything planned…He ended up surprising me with a cake! We had just gotten back from a vacation, so I really wasn’t expecting him to do anything for Christmas.
D) He ended up surprising me by asking me to go on an amusement park date with him! We ate some holiday-themed foods, went shopping, and then went skating!
Question 5
It’s the end of the night, which means it’s time to exchange presents. What did your date gift you?
A) As we agreed to do secret santa, we didn’t really want to make a gift exchange the main event of the night. The thing I received by the end of the night that was most precious to me was a camera album full of photos.
B) During the date, I spent a lot of time wishing to be able to spend even more time together. My gift ended up being from Mother Nature herself, as the heavy snowfall caused the trains to stop!
C) We ultimately didn’t technically exchange presents, as we had agreed we wouldn’t… But he still prepared a cake in secret!
D) I think the biggest gift I received was the entire date itself—as he bought and prepared everything! I think having exchanged big presents on top of everything else would have been too much.
