For this quiz, I tried to pick one non-shoujo characters as well to keep things fresh!
How to play:
There will be four characters that you can get! Please keep track of which answer you agree with the most, (for example, if you get 2 A’s, and 3 B’s, then B will be the letter that you agreed with the most). The letter that you agreed with the most will lead you to your shopping buddy!
Let’s start!
Question 1
First things first: budget. You need to have at least an idea of how much you’re going to spend before heading out! While you’re still calculating yours you ask your shopping partner about theirs, and they say…
A) Honestly I may not spend any money while out—window shopping is just as much fun as actual shopping! I’ll prepare a little bit of money in case I find a really good deal, but I’m not going to buy something just because it’s on sale.
B) While I’m not planning on spending that much money, I do want to buy at least a few presents for my friends while I’m out. Maybe about $50 just to be safe.
C) I’m hoping to buy some things for myself today, so I may as well splurge a little bit… Maybe I’ll bring my Credit Card just in case there are some really good sales happening.
D) Budget? Today’s the shopping holiday! How can you properly celebrate if you limit yourself?
Question 2
You’ve arrived at the mall, and you’re generous enough to allow your shopping partner to choose the first store you hit. So, where do they take you?
A) To the “as seen on tv” store. Even though it’s supposed to be full of highly advertised products, you actually only recognize a handful of things in the store. It’s actually a lot of fun going through all of the strange products.
B) A knick knack store—while not highly advertised, these store tend to have cute, one-of-a-kind objects! While the sales may not be that good compared to some of the bigger chain stores, it’s much less crowded, making it easier to browse.
C) An electronics store—if you’re going to get a new computer, Black Friday is a good day to do it. A lot of the design programs are on sale as well! You spend a lot of time checking out all of the special “today only” bundles.
D) The most expensive store in the mall—why not spend the day pretending you’re rich!? Today’s probably the only day that a regular person could buy something from the store without (much) regret. It’s actually a lot of fun pretending to have more money than you have.
Question 3
After you finish up at the first store, you feel like it’s about time to take a snack break. Or at least have a little sit down. So you…
A) Your shopping partner just so happens to have a coupon for smoothies, so you head to the booth! Skipping the food court may have been the correct choice, as you were able to secure a seat right beside the booth.
B) Take the lead and bring your shopping partner to the food court. While it’s a little bit crazy, you are able to find seats before too long. You have them hold the seats, while you treat them to lunch. After eating, you’re ready to go back out!
C) Start to head over to the food court, but because distracted once you hit the plaza—it seems like there’s a surprise christmas concert taking place! The two of you decide to stay for the performance, and are able to find seats in the crowd. After the concert, you take a picture with Santa, and head back towards the shops.
D) Head to the electronics store! Your shopping partner seems to know all of the secrets of the mall, including that the electronics store has massage chairs on display! By the time the trial massage is over, you’re ready to shop again.
Question 4
Now it’s your turn to pick a shop! You decide to go to…
A) The homegoods store—even just looking through all of the different decorations and pretty glassware is fun. You’re sure you’ll find a nice gift in here, so you take your time browsing. While you’re looking through all of the cute mugs, you notice your shopping partner looking at a sushi rolling mat.
B) An accessory store—everyone loves cute accessories, making them the perfect gift! You have a few friends that are difficult to shop for, so you think it may be worthwhile getting them something generically cute from here. While you’re browsing through some of the barretts, you catch your shopping partner looking at phone charms.
C) The music store—the concert has you feeling inspired! If you’re going to pick up a new instrument, you may as well do it while they’re on sale. While you’re browsing the instruments, you catch your shopping partner purchasing a guitar pick.
D) The Coach store—you can’t help it, your shopping partner is an awful influence on you. Even still, would it be the worst thing in the world to buy yourself a cute new bag? They are on sale after all… You deserve a present too! While you’re trying to decide between a black or brown bag, you catch your partner checking out the track suits.
Question 5
It’s almost the end of the day! As a thank you, you decide that you want to give your shopping partner a little gift. You find your chance to slip away to buy it when they excuse themselves to the washroom, but you have limited time to buy! What will you gift them?
A) Some nice new stationary—a simple gift, but you know your partner works very hard at school, and would appreciate something new to write with.
B) Some cute matching earrings for the two of you—you’ve always wanted to subtly match with one of your friends, and now you can! This is as much a gift to yourself as it is to them.
C) A new sketch pad—you know they run through paper like crazy, so this is a no-brainer gift.
D) I would give them a gift…If I hadn’t spent all of my money already. Honestly, hanging out with me all day is a present in itself.
