What’s this manga about?
Born as the saint, Serafina had her whole life decided for her from the very beginning. What she would do, where she would live, and who she would marry—all have been long decided by the empire. As her very existence helps keep the country safe, her mistreatment has been deemed necessary for the “greater good”.
She hasn’t felt all that alone though, as she’s not the only one in the empire with no say over their life. Just like her, the hero has had to do what’s been decided for him since a very young age. Unlike her though, he sees this as a good thing—he never has to worry about what to do, so what’s the problem? Furthermore, when they’re ordered to get married, he doesn’t really have any complaints. Serafina doesn’t want to marry him, but she’s lived her life this way for so long, she doesn’t think disobeying is an option.
That is until the night of their wedding, where the hero wakes Serafina up as he’s about to assault her. It’s fine, he says, as they’re technically married now.
It’s not fine, Serafina states, as she knocks him out and runs away—not before demanding a divorce, of course. She runs and runs and runs… until she gets to the boundary of the demon kingdom, where she passes out. The demon king just so happens to be out on a stroll right in that area, and he picks up her and brings her back to his castle.
Serafina is treated incredibly kindly by both the demon king and all of his attendants, they treat her better than any human in the kingdom ever had, she tells them. Due to this kindness, she grows to become very attached to everyone during her short stay there. Before all that much time can pass unfortunately, a group of adventurers come in looking to defeat the demon king.
In order to help everyone in his castle, the king runs out by himself, planning on dying as a martyr—he’s grown weak over the years, and has little hope of defeating anyone. Serafina isn’t about to let him die though, so she sneaks out right after him, ready to fight. As he’s weakening, she attempts to heal him through a kiss. And while it does heal him… this kiss also somehow switches their powers. With the demon king finding himself with the healing powers of a saint, and Serafina finding herself with the overwhelmingly strong powers of a demon king. Just what happened!?

What I Like About This Manga
💜 Serafina being a little fluff ball half the time! I think she’s beautiful when she’s properly made up, but I also think she’s cute when she’s just a big ball of hair.
💙 The demon king enjoying picking up strays—I guess he also picked up Serafina because she’s technically a stray?
💚 Serafina knocking the hero out cold—honestly I was a little worried she would end up being a more passive character, so this really surprised me (in a good way).
💛 Serafina turing straight cold when she took on the power of the demon king—it’s like she was a whole new character!
💚 The kiss switching their powers just came out of nowhere! I was so caught of guard!
