Hello my lovely readers! I wanted to share some of the changes that I have been recently working on. Perhaps you’ve already noticed a few of them?
- Search by publisher
Now on the main page, you are able to browse through both English and Japanese publishers. As some of the Japanese series I post about have only recently been picked up for English digitals, not everything is perfectly categorized yet.
I made this scale to help fellow Japanese language learners. As the majority of manga that I talk about on here are in Japanese, I wanted a way to rank the difficulty. I decided to categorize things as “beginner, intermediate, and advanced” I talk more about my reasonings for each category on the page, which is also accessible from the main page.
- Manga samples
When I introduce a new manga, I always do my best to show where you can purchase it yourself, as well as where you can read a free sample. I have been made aware that a few of the Pixiv Comics links no longer work, and I am working to update these links.
I want you to be aware that if you click on the “Volume ~~” instead of the “Sample” button, there will still be an option to check out a free sample of the volume through Amazon Kindle (completely free to use, no download needed.) Please see the image below as a reference point.

- Manga news
While I am not a news site, I do enjoy talking about new manga as well as old. I have begun looking into all of the various manga magazines, and have begun sharing general news about the recent volumes of: Margaret, Dessert, LaLa, and Hana to Yume. If you are interested in keeping up to date with any other manga magazines, please let me know, and I will be sure to include them.
And that’s it for now! As always, I will still be posting my manga reviews and Japanese lessons regularly. If you’re interesting in seeing more content from me, please be sure to check out my YouTube channel! Thank you for reading.
