First Impressions and thoughts

I’m very glad that the first two chapters of this manga were offered for free, as while the first chapter alone wasn’t really able to grab me, adding in the second chapter certainly did the trick.

I’m already a fan of reincarnation stories, so I’m always on the lookout for something that puts a spin on the genre. The first two chapters did a good job at introducing the mystery – “how did they get teleported?”, “what’s happening in their real world?” “were the original owners of these bodies poisoned?”

I’m excited to continue reading!

What’s it about?

We start the series with our protagonist, Hiiro, daydreaming about talking to a beautiful prince in the gardens of a royal castle. She is quickly brought back to her senses by her teacher shouting for her.

For a daydream though, it felt pretty real. And for some reason, she found herself unable to recall the name of the prince that she was dreaming about. She forgets about it rather quickly when her friends start talking about the princely-looking new transfer student sitting near them.

After transfering here not a month ago, they say, he’s already been confessed to 10 times. And not long after Hiiro accidently overhears the 11th. He calls her out for eavesdropping – this being the first time they’ve spoken to each other – and gives her the nickname of “pork bun girl”.

When class starts back up, Hiiro drops a stack of papers. The transfer student goes to help her, but when their hands touch they find themselves transported into the bodies of two foreign royalty members. Two royal newlyweds.

The two now must work together to not blow their cover, while also searching for a way back home.

My Favourites

  • The mystery – I really did enjoy all of the little mystery elements scattered throughout this introduction!
  • The mysterious ML – it feels like he knows a little bit more that he’s leading on.

My Least-Favourites

  • Nothing yet!
