While romance is one of my favourite genres, fantasy is one of my favourite sub-genres found in romance manga! When it comes to fantasy romance, or, romantasy, no two stories are the same. So, I wanted to recommend 3 very different (but all amazing) fantasy manga that I think are worth a read!
All of the featured titles have official English publications, and I will share where you can find them!

A quick recap
Himuro, our male lead of this manga, is the descendant of a snow spirit. While there aren’t all that many people like him around the city; it seems like people with fantastical abilities are common enough in this mangaverse that people don’t pay much mind to it.
Himuro seems to have a difficult time controlling his powers, and his emotions tend to set them off. When he really enjoys something, he tends to conjure a blizzard. So, although he loves flowers, and animals, he has to keep his distance as to not freeze them….

A quick recap
Anne is the daughter of a renowned sugar sculptor. In this fantastical world, being a sugar sculptor is a highly praised job, as only the best of the best can achieve this status. As she was brought up in this environment, Anne is determined to follow in her mother’s footsteps.
Anne is a kind girl, who does her best to treat fairies as nicely as she can. Although she is rather weak, she doesn’t hesitate to help those who are even weaker than she is. This kindness is probably her best attribute, as it helps her win the hearts of those around her….

Colette Decides to Die / コレットは死ぬことにした

Some info about this manga
- Greek mythology inspired romance
- Very fluffy romance
- Slow burn
- My favourite manga!
A quick recap
Colette Decides to Die is a story featuring both normal everyday humans, and Greek gods. Our two main characters come from both categories: Colette, a regular human who works as a doctor, and Hades, the god of the underworld.
Colette is a doctor residing in a rural village. As she puts her patients before all else, she is incredibly overworked and often sleep-deprived. This is what lead to her first meeting with Hades, she ends up working as a doctor to both humans, and gods.
Personality-wise, Colette is an incredibly kind girl who always does her best to help those around her. As a doctor, she sees it as her life mission to help those around her, and to be a good successor to the doctor who raised her. She isn’t scared of much at all, as one day when she woke up in the underworld surrounded by supernatural creatures, she wasn’t taken aback at all, and eventually made friends with everyone.
