A Quick Recap

On her dying bed, our protagonist wishes for the chance to be able to find a love like the one in her favourite novel. After she passes away, she finds herself waking up in that very same novel… but in the body of the villainess, Reneza.

Not everything is horrible though, as due to this she is able to see her favourite character, Elden, during his childhood years. While now he is an adorable character, he is destined to soon become an esteemed knight.

Using her knowledge from reading the novel, our Reneza decides to slightly tweak the events in the novel to ensure that Elden can have his happy ending with the female lead. If she can stop event that caused the two to grow apart originally – the love potion event – she can successfully turn Elden into the male lead!

But, with Reneza acting like a completely different person than she was originally meant to, will Elden still only have eyes for Reneza?

My Thoughts on the Manga

I’m such a huge fan of love potion stories, as well as reincarnation stories, and this one combined the two!

I really enjoyed all of the characters, and I found the author’s way of telling the story to be very engaging. I feel like I read everything in about 5 seconds – I was just so absorbed in it.

At first, this story reminded me of my favourite light novel, Hello I’m a Witch Who’s Crush Requested a Love Potion, but I quickly was able to appreciate it as its own media. While the ML does look similar to Harij, that’s really where the similarities end.

I’m looking forward to seeing how the two characters relationship grows, and whether Reneza decides she actually wants to be with Elden or not. It seems like she really just wants to watch him be happy from the sidelines, however I do hope she takes a more proactive approach from here on!
