A Quick Recap

You wake up in the world of your favourite otome game one day, with the ability to date your absolute favourite character. So, of course you choose his route, and go through the motion of clearing it. But… the following morning, the game-world reverts itself back to the first day of school.

It’s here that you realize that the game will only let you go after you complete each characters routes. But… You really only have eyes for your favourite character. What do you do? Our protagonist decides to just continue going for her favourite character – doing anything else would be cheating, right? Even though he doesn’t remember anything from the first round, that’s fine. Her love for him is motivation enough to go through it again.

On the third round though, she decides to break away, and to try socializing with one of the other route holders. But, this third time around is nothing like the first two. For starters, even if she says the correct things, in-game events aren’t triggers. She’s also been having a great deal of difficulty actually getting close with her chosen route-holder. And on top of all that, her favourite character is acting rather suspiciously out of character…

My Thoughts on the Manga

While I know many people are getting tired of the reincarnation trope, but I’m not! I love it! If I were to be transported into my favourite game, I too would just continuously replay my favourite’s route.

I also really enjoyed the added factor of the ML having a completely different personality that can be seen when his route isn’t chosen.

I’m looking forward to reading all of the stories in this anthology!
