Iroke to Fun’iki Tsuyomena Kissaten no Oniisan / 色気と雰囲気つよめな喫茶店のお兄さん (1~3) : Manga Review and Thoughts

This manga is by one of my favourite found-on-Amazon manga authors! I didn’t realize it at first, but this author wrote several of my favourite online exclusive manga! I really recommend checking out their works, as many are offered for free!

First Impressions

I really enjoyed the laid-back style of this manga! The female lead is very relatable – I too have felt very overwhelmed in a fancy cafe. Watching the lead be able to rely on the barista to calm her nerves was very enjoyable!

I enjoyed how short the story was, as it doesn’t leave any room for unnecessary content. While it’s by no means rushed, it feels like every page is created to further progress their relationship. All in all, I am really enjoying this story so far!

What’s it about?

This manga follows the relationship between a girl who finds herself in a cafe that feels a bit too fancy for her, and the man who runs the counter. While he has exceptional customer service with his regular customers, he tends to get rather flustered when it comes to our protagonist.

My Favourites

  • The art – I really love this style of art!
  • The male lead’s accent – it adds to his character
  • Being shown the male lead’s awkwardness

My Least-Favourites

  • The male lead’s tie 😦 I hope it doesn’t last the whole series
