A Quick Recap

After growing up in a small town in Hokkaido, Nonoka made the decision to move to Tokyo for her higher education. While growing up in a small town has its perks, like being basically family with the entire population, it also has its downsides… like being basically family with the entire population.

It’s difficult to grow feelings for someone you’ve known since you were children, after all. Nonoka really wants to experience her first love, and where better than Tokyo!?

While moving to Tokyo is scary, and expensive, Nonoka does have a bit of a safety net: her brother. Her incredibly famous, variety show host, brother. It’s thanks to her being able to rely on him that she was able to come to Tokyo, as she’ll be crashing with him but… Will it just be the two of them living at his house?

My Thoughts on the Manga

While I did really enjoy this intro chapter, I did find parts of it to be a little shallow for my liking. I tend to dislike it when a characters main motivation is “I want a boyfriend!”, so I do hope that Nonoka is able to find herself in the coming chapters.

I’m planning on continuing this one, as I thought the setup was fun, and I enjoy university romances… But i’m prepared to potentially not enjoy it. While there are physical volumes out, I’m planning on reading a few more chapters before I make the plunge.
