My thoughts on the manga
While I’m still not 100% sure of my thoughts on this manga, I know that I want to see where it goes in volume 2. I’ve never really liked stories that place a great deal of importance on a character’s sexuality, so it makes sense that some of the themes in this manga rubbed me the wrong way.
It’s explained that the incredibly powerful priestess main character, Monica, can only be an incredibly power priestess so long as she’s a virgin. I get the whole chastity thing, but I do feel that there was too much emphasis put on sexual themes, and not enough put on her “amazing” powers.
I do think that this series has a lot of potential! I’m very curious to see what the male lead is hiding, and I want to learn more about the royalty in the new kingdom that Monica has found herself in! I would also love to see some revenge take place on her ex-fiance.

I do like the cover design for this manga! I also love the colours in Monica’s hair, and I really wish that they came through inside the manga too.
