Information about the author
The author of this series is Tachibana Eriko. She actually has a great number of romance manga available for download from Amazon Japan. Some are more spicier than other, but you can take a look at her full catalogue here.
What’s it about?
This is a sort of “opposites attract” josei romance manga! Our female lead, Otonashi, has the worst luck imaginable. From stumbling over her own two feet at important meetings, to getting groped by her superior at work, nothing really seems to go her way.

After getting sexually assaulted by her superior at work, she promptly slaps him in the face – and gets fired for it. Quite literally, everything goes the absolute worst way possible for her.
After getting fired, almost appropriately, it starts pouring rain on her.
This is when she meets a mysterious man! The second she runs into him, the rain stops up. As they’re walking together, people start giving him free samples of food.. When they enter a store together, he wins the 10,000th customer prize… He’s quite literally the opposite of Otonashi. This is when he explains that he’s always had extremely good luck – completely contracting Otonashi’s consistent terrible luck.
And this is where their story begins! Does one super lucky person, and one unbelievably unlucky person equal two averagely lucky people? Does one affect the other more? That is what this manga explores!
My thoughts!
the story
I found this to be a very cute manga!! While it’s still very short, I do think the concept of the story was explained well right from the start. I understand the tropes right away, and I understand at least a little bit about both main characters and their personalities.
the art
As for the art, while it’s not my absolute favourite art style, it’s by no means ugly. I don’t like it enough to add it to my physical collection were a physical to be released, but it definitely won’t stop me from continuing to read it on my kindle.
is it fun?
I do think this is a fun story!! I really appreciated that the man who sexually assaulted our female lead got his comeuppance not longer after the act. I really love revenge stories, as well as stories that involve karma, so I’m happy we were able to get a little bit of that here!
I also think the idea of lucky person + unlucky person is very cute, and not something seen all that often!
