Which Shoujo manga made the list?
Idol x Idol Story

This is a slice of life idol manga! While I haven’t read it myself, the story seems interesting, and the art is beautiful! Take a look at the story synopsys:
Meet Mimi, a college grad working part-time at a convenience store. Once an aspiring idol, she abandoned her dream when her group failed to make it big. Enter Ibuki, a rising star inspired by Mimi’s past. Their unexpected encounters reignite Mimi’s passion for the spotlight. Together, they decide to audition for a high-stakes idol competition show. Can they achieve their dreams and forge an unbreakable bond, or will the intense rivalry tear them apart?
The One Within the Villainess

This is a manga that I’m actually really excited about! I’ve only read a little bit of it, but what I did read, I loved! That being said, I’ll always love a good villainess story. Take a look at the story synopsys:
In order to clear the name of ‘Emi’, a girl who had reincarnated as Remilia, the villainess of an otome game, the real Remilia who had been watching all along inside awakens.
Now it’s time for the true villainess’s revenge to begin!
While the synopsys is short and sweet, the actual story is a bit more complex!
Imouto Wa Siscon Ani Ga Mendokusai

It may be because I have brothers, but I really really really could not get into this. While I think every piece of media deserves to be loved by someone, this one gets no love from me. Take a look at the synopsys here:
Yui Hasegawa, an unattractive high school student, has an older brother, Yu, who is both a literary and martial artist, cool, and called the most handsome guy in school.
The two are so unlike each other that it is hard to believe they are brother and sister.
There are even rumors that they don’t get along, Yui, who has a “perfect brother,” is troubled.
It is…The fact that her brilliant and talented older brother is actually a severe siscon.
A hilarious home comedy about siblings who are complete opposites!
Otaku ni Yasashii Gyaru ni Watashi wa Naru!

I’m surprised i’ve never heard of this manga before, it looks so cute! Unfortunately I was unable to find an official English synopsys, so please let me try and explain the story!
A former serious Otaku has become a gyaru and wants to make a lot of friends!
Kaisha to Shiseikatsu On to Off

This manga is completely new to me, and it has me absolutely enthralled! ! The art is just so beautiful, and the story is very unique! Here is a synopsys of the story:
Working people have company (on) and private lives (off). Meet two office workers whose professional lives “on” the clock and private lives when they’re “off” couldn’t be more different. He dresses like a lolita. She dresses like a punk. When their contrasting “on” and “off” modes collide, it inevitably leads to heart-pounding antics!
Firefly Wedding

This is one that I’ve been absolutely dying to read, and i’m praying to god it gets an anime. This one is right up there with Yakuza Fiance in terms of messiness, but it’s such a fun story that I don’t even mind the drama. Here’s a little synopsys:
Afflicted with a heart condition, Meiji-era noblewoman Satoko is determined to secure a marriage that will benefit her family before she dies. But before she can realize her goal, she’s targeted by a mysterious assassin named Shinpei. In a last-ditch effort to save her life, Satoko asks her would-be murderer to marry her. Her proposal isn’t sincere, but unfortunately for her, Shinpei loves as intensely as he kills. Can Satoko find a way to break the engagement without losing her life?
Minato’s Laundromat

This is another series completely new to me, but it looks like a sweet story! The art is also rather unique, which gives me a nostalgic feeling for some reason… Here’s a synopsis of the story:
“Minato-san, I have a sex drive.”When Akira Minato inherits an old, run-down laundromat from his grandfather, he sees it as an opportunity to recover from his grueling corporate job and spend his days in laid-back leisure. But all that changes when a new customer comes knocking―one who’s maybe a bit too good-looking. Despite their growing closer, Akira is determined not to let high school hottie Shintaro Katsuki find out he’s gay…until a casual slip of the tongue gives away his secret.
And that’s it!
I was surprised by the amount of shoujo manga nominated! Not just shoujo manga, there was a great deal of josei manga as well! There were manga series brand new to me that I’d like to start reading if possible, and many that I really hope will get their own anime!
