Why I like this manga

This is the sort of manga I like to read when I just want to turn my brain off and look at some pretty art. While there is a plot, the story really isn’t all that dependent on it. Our FL is a spy who’s mission is to inform her organization on the assassin, and our ML is an assassin who knows she’s a spy and really doesn’t care. That’s pretty much where the plot ends. Thanks to this, it’s really easy to just go along and enjoy the story, which I really appreciate when I’m trying to take a reading break!

The story…

The characters

There are two main characters featured in this manga: Neneko and Omi

Neneko

Neneko is a very cat-like girl who was raised in a spy facility. The only thing she knows how to do in life is to be a spy, but despite this, she’s rather bad at it. Until now, she’s only ever been given very simple missions. Thanks to her looks, she has been able to get by just appealing to her targets interests, and her organization recognizes this as her greatest strength.

Omi

Omi is an assassin, and the spy organizations newest target. While a lot of Omi is still shrouded in mystery, he is clearly really in love with Neneko. He was once a member of the same spy organization that Neneko works for, and so he understands more of Neneko’s situation than she understands.

Neneko and Omi

The two of them entered a contract marriage rather quickly so that Neneko can better “spy” on Omi. I put “spy” in quotation marks, as she really can only watch him when he allows her to. This manga really only revolves around their relationship, and whatever plot happens, happens in the background. Neneko and Omi have sort of a cat and mouse relationship, and their dynamic is very fun to read!

Is there drama? (we’re generally not a fan of drama)

Honestly there really isn’t enough plot for drama to grow.
